Is there anything really significant about the year 2020? If so, what is it? My conclusion is that the number of this year, 2020, does, indeed, speak prophetically to the Body of Christ from both the Jewish and Gregorian calendars. First, let’s take a look at the number 2020. That number is often connected with 20/20 vision, which means “clarity” or “sharpness of vision”. The number of this year suggests that clarity, regarding “things to come”, will be given to those who wait upon the Lord. God will answer those who ask for wisdom and will give them an abundance of it! He will show them destiny, purpose and His perfect will. It is a year for you to receive clear vision.
The Gregorian calendar year of 2020 is the Jewish calendar year of 5780. Now, let’s take a look at the number 80. I will preface the explanation of this number by first informing you of the fact that every letter and every number in the Jewish language is represented by a symbol (picture). The Jewish symbol connected to the number 80 is the symbol called “pey” and the picture of that number is the “open mouth”, so by combining 2020 of the Gregorian calendar and the 80 of the Jewish calendar, a prophetic proclamation is being made. If you have ears to hear what the Spirit of God is saying to you, hear! This year will be a year to open our mouth and declare the clear vision! It is the year to give life to the vision, which God has made clear to you!
The importance of speaking the vision is demonstrated in the following two verses:
“A man shall eat good by the fruit of his mouth” (Pro. 13:2).
“Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit of it” (Pro. 18:21).
By the above two verses you learn that your words have creative power! You can frame your world through those things you speak! Open your mouth now and begin to prophesy good things into your future! Give life to the clear vision God has made known to you by speaking it forth!
This past Sunday, as I was sitting in church, I heard the Lord clearly speak to me that 2020 is the year of Ezekiel 37. He said to me that even now it has already started. (Bear in mind that on Oct. 1, 2019, the Jewish year began.) A stirring has already started among God’s people. Immediately, I began to reflect on all the ones who recently have been stirred into action in the way of communication. In other words, they are opening their mouth to prophesy the new thing God has placed in them and are writing books and articles, producing art works, and expressing themselves in interpretive dance.
New life is being breathed into members of the Body of Christ. There is an army arising in the Church that will produce champions for the cause of Christ. David asked when he faced Goliath, “Is there not a cause?” (1Sa. 17:29). If ever there was a day in which there is a cause, it is today. In this day and hour in which we live, there have been many Goliaths who have crossed the Church’s path. The Church has been asked to compromise her faith in business, in preaching (not to cross certain lines, lest it be deemed hate speech), and in the political arena. Believers have been labeled biased, prejudiced, judgmental and full of hate. Have you felt the opposition? The anti-Christ spirit exists today and is at large; it is pushing back against the Church to push us into a corner where we dare not speak. BUT GOD SAYS, “THIS IS THE YEAR OF THE OPEN MOUTH! SPEAK THE CLEAR VISION!”
As I said earlier, you frame your world, your future, the fulfillment of your destiny and your purpose through the words you speak! If you do not speak them, who will? God placed the same creative power, by which He moves, upon your tongue! It is the same power that God used to create the world, which was carried through the vehicle of His words! Words are powerful. Start framing your world now by opening your mouth and speaking your clear vision!
“Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear” (Heb. 11:3).
There is much activity stirring now regarding words. As I have already said, written communication is abounding with books, articles and posts. Oral communication is plenteous with preaching and livestreaming. In other words, MANY ALREADY HAVE OPENED THEIR MOUTHS. I hear words. I hear speech. New ministries are being birthed. Opportunities that one only dreams about are coming forth to your door. This is all in preparation of the NEW MOVE of God that is coming. A sleeping giant is awakening.
The Church is being loosed from satanic captivity. Jesus said, “I will build My Church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it” (Mat. 16:18), and there is nothing that Satan can do to stop His Church! Jesus said, “I will”. Do you hear the power of those two words? He also said, “My Church”, meaning that the Church is something that belongs exclusively to Him. He will not let that which He owns, bought by His precious blood, fall by the wayside. Jesus is an excellent Builder. He doesn’t just “pitch and patch”, as my mother would say. He builds a sure solid structure that will not fall and will endure every onslaught that comes against it. The Church is arising to do war against the Kingdom of Darkness. There’s an old song that summed it up well, written by the great songwriter, Dottie Rambo, entitled “The Church Triumphant”. The Church is triumphant because Jesus said, “I WILL build My Church!”
That which took place with the Jews approximately 2,500 years ago, as recorded in Eze. 37, is prophetically happening to God’s people WORLDWIDE at this very moment. The miraculous event described by the Prophet Ezekiel was when God freed His people from Babylonian captivity and restored the nation of Israel. Today, God is freeing His Church from the captivity of oppression. Moreover, the Lord told me as I sat in church this past Sunday to observe the movement that has already begun. A shifting, a moving, and a transitioning are happening even now in the lives of His people!
1 The hand of the Lord was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the Lord, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones,
2 And caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were very many in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry.
3 And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord God, You know.
4 Again He said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O you dry bones, hear the word of the Lord.
5 Thus says the Lord God unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live:
Ezekiel was commanded to open his mouth and prophesy the vision that God had made clear to him! What was the vision? That the dry bones would live! God is also saying to you to prophesy. Prophesy to your vision. See the vision of dry bones living. Speak life to it. Your dry bones have been in the open field way too long! I hear the words of prophecy coming to you, saying, “Live dry bones!” Your vision is being loosed now! Ezekiel prophesied as He was commanded. Just as God commanded Ezekiel, He is commanding you to OPEN YOUR MOUTH and start prophesying the clear vision, which He is making known to you.
7 So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone.
Do you hear the noise and the shaking? That’s your vision being loosed! It will come together as surely as the dry bones of Ezekiel’s vision came together, bone to bone.
Jesus has not given up on His Church! There is a mighty army coming forth. There is a stirring of gifts going on now and visions are being manifested. Poets, writers, musicians, singers, organizers, ministry of helps, artists, and on and on, are being stirred into action. Jesus said, “I will build My Church!” It’s happening not just here in the USA, but it’s happening all over the world. The four winds are involved at the four corners of the Earth. Believers in nation after nation are being stirred up!
9 Then said He unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus says the Lord God; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.
10 So I prophesied as He commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.
The Church is coming into its own place. There is a realignment and positioning going on now! Bones of the Church, members of the Body of Christ, are coming together and they are standing up to make a declaration and to be heard! Let the redeemed of the Lord say so!
11 Then He said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts.
12 Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus says the Lord God; Behold, O My people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel.
I prophesy to you that the gifts that are stirring in you now will lead to NEW DOORS being opened to you, so that you can freely express those gifts. God will bring you into your own place. Open your mouth and speak the clear vision!
